Director, Head of Dealing

Responsibilities

In charge of central dealing room function covering global equities, stock options, stock lending and borrowing, fixed income products, structure products, and mutual funds;
Formulate and review Dealing Policy, Error Procedures, Manual Trade Policy;
Supervise the dealing activities of team members in order to comply with the required rules and regulations;
Oversee the trading systems including Hundsun, Ayers, eBroker, Fidessa, Bloomberg EMSX, 2GoTrade and in-house trading APP;
Participate in system enhancement projects and UAT testing;
Monitor the client's position, oversee the trading risk and credit risk for the company and responsible for margin call;
Liaise and work with other departments to smooth out the dealing operation; and
Coordinate with sales departments including Private Wealth Department, Wealth Department and Corporate
Department to provide market insight and trading ideas.

Requirements

Degree holder or above with major in Business or related disciplines;
Minimum 10 years’ related experience on securities dealing operations including 5 years’ management experience;
SFC registered Responsible Officer for Type 1 regulated activities;
Experienced in handling trading systems including Hundsun, Ayers, eBroker, Fidessa, Bloomberg EMSX and 2GoTrade; and
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
