Job Description

Coordinate cross functional activities, fostering a positive work environment. Manage internal and external relationship.
Solid experience in handling IT projects, excellent problem solving and analytical skills 
Hands-on experience in data management and analytics work, detail-oriented approach, familiar with data model, proficient SQL.
Under available datasets on client, instrument, trading, valuation and margin.
Knowledge and experience covering many assets classes. Specific focus areas include: TRS, options, global futures, fx, equities, repo.
Good understanding of operation processes for derivatives products and services, such as collateral management, HKTR, client & instrument static data management.
Familiar with regulatory requirements (i.e. HKMA & SFC) & markets practices.
Support whole trade lifecycle – from trade capture, booking, position keeping, reconciliation, P&L calculation.
Collaborate with teams to design and implement system solutions, ensuring successful delivery.
Coordinate and monitor testing progress to ensure development team’s deliverable meet user requirements.
Provide clear stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
Maintain comprehensive and traceable project documentation, including business requirements, test plans, issue logs and implementation strategies.
Gather and analyze requirements from internal stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of business needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
Identify key issues and risks throughout the project cycle.

 
Requirements

5 to 10 years experience in IT or Operation related discipline with 3 or more years of building and supporting post-trade processing systems.
Bachelor's degree or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information System, Applied math or other technical fields.
Willingness to embrace new challenges and stay updated with industry trends and advancements in the data field.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
