GF Global Capital Limited was established to engage in FICC proprietary trading. GF Holdings (Hong Kong) was awarded "Best M&A Investment Bank" at the Belt and Road Initiative (Hong Kong) Summit and China Securities Golden Bauhinia Awards by Ta Kung Pao.

GF Investment (Hong Kong) was established, which focuses on private equity investment.

GF Securities (Hong Kong) Brokerage Limited and GF Capital (Hong Kong) Limited were licensed by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission to carry out securities brokerage and investment banking businesses.

GF Holdings (HK) was established following approval from the CSRC to conduct business in Hong Kong and overseas markets. GF Securities (Hong Kong) Brokerage Limited, GF Capital (Hong Kong) Limited and GF Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited were also set up during the year.
